Shiri Appleby was born and raised in a Jewish family from California; her father is an American while mother from Israel.
Shiri’s acting career started when she was 4, her first commercial was however never aired. She went on to pose in a few commercials and guest starred some TV series and movies like “ER,” “7th Heaven” and “Xena.”
Shiri Appleby didn’t really like going for auditions during her high school days, she thought high school would be the greatest time of her life. Despite appearing on screen, Shiri had quite a normal school life as a student… cheerleading, yearbook editing and doing part time jobs.

After graduating from Calabasas High School in 1996, Shiri enrolled into University of Southern California. Not sure if she does graduate, her study was delayed after she was given the major role in TV series “Roswell”.
The sci-fi series Roswell was aired in 1999 and went on for a couple of seasons, where Shiri played the leading actress as Liz Parker. Shiri’s Roswell role still remains as her most noticeable performance thus far.

Shiri Appleby also star in a few music videos, including Bon Jovi’s hit “It’s My Life” and Gavin DeGraw’s “I Don’t Want To Be.”

Nicole Kidman started learning ballet when back to Australia, and later accepted into Sydney’s Australian Theatre for Young People; then at the Philip Street Theatre where she learned voice production and theatre history.
Nicole Kidman started her entertainment career in 1983, starring in a Pat Wilson’s music video. Nicole then started starring in some TV series and movies, mostly Australia productions.

Nicole’s first noticeable Hollywood movie was “Dead Calm” in 1989, co-starring Sam Neill and Billy Zane. In 1990 Nicole starred in “Days of Thunder” co-starring her ex-husband Tom Cruise.
Nicole and Tom married on Christmas Eve 1990, and divorced in 2001. The ex-couple adopted two children, daughter Isabella Jane and son Connor Anthony.
Nicole Kidman also starred in “Far and Away” (1992) and “Batman Forever” (1995). Despite her beauty, Nicole was merely recognized as ‘Mrs. Cruise’ back than, rather than her acting.

Nicole’s talent only started to be appreciated in 1995 dark comedy “To Die For,” and surprisingly won her a Golden Globe Award as Best Actress for Motion Picture Musical or Comedy.
Nicole Kidman continued to star in a few movies, including the acclaimed “The Portrait of a Lady” (1996); and “Eyes Wide Shut” in 1999 starring alongside Tom Cruise.
If her divorce with Cruise in 2001 was painful, her sorrow was compensated with 2 great movies, “Moulin Rouge” and “The Others.” Both movies were box office hit, Nicole was nominated for Golden Globe for both movies in 2002, and won with Moulin Rouge. She was also nominated in Academy Awards for Moulin Rouge.
2002 was even a greater year for Nicole; she starred in “The Hours” alongside Julianne Moore and Meryl Streep. Nicole won both the Golden Globe and Academy Awards in 2003 with the movie.
Nicole Kidman also starred in acclaimed movie “Cold Mountain” in 2003, but that’s probably her last good film till now. “The Stepford Wives” (2004), “The Interpreter” and “Bewitched” (2005) achieved decent success in box office, and were far beyond expectations.
Nicole Kidman however fair better in love life, she met country singer Keith Urban at a Hollywood event honoring Australians in January 2005. The celebrity couple married on June 25, 2006.

Maria Sharapova started playing tennis at age of 4 and when Sharapova was 6, she got to play legendary tennis player Martina Navratilova when Navratilova was giving an exhibition class in Moscow.
Navratilova saw the talent in Sharapova and recommended Sharapova’s father to send her to Nick Bollettieri’s Tennis Academy in Bradenton, Florida USA… which he did when Sharapova was 9.

Sharapova turned pro at the tender age of 14 and emerged quickly as one of the most talk-about tennis players back then.
Even before Maria Sharapova claimed any major title, she began to feature on various magazines but she proved to the world that she is not just a pretty face by being the first ever Russian Wimbledon champion at the age 17 years old.

Maria Sharapova also won the Season-Ending Championships at the same year (2004) and ranked top 5 at the year end rankings.
Maria Sharapova became the first ever Russian woman to hold WTA world No.1 ranking on August 22, 2005. However series of injuries had prevented her from winning any grand slam in 2005, and she eventually lost her No 1 ranking by year end.


It took a while for Sharapova to recover back her form; she won her first title in 9 months at the Pacific Life Open at Indian Wells on March 2006.

Evonne Hsu was born in a small town village in Texas, USA. It’s said that when eVonne was born all nurses went to see her and named her the “snow white.”
Evonne Hsu grew up with a passion for singing and dancing, but she didn’t dream of becoming a superstar when she went into University of Texas to pursue her study in psychology.
It was during Evonne’s university study that one of her friend convinced her to make a singing demo; the friend then took the demo tape to Taiwan Core Agency.
The executive at the agency was impressed with Evonne and flew to Texas to sign Evonne and nurtured her as future superstar.
Since that eVonne was planning to visit her grandparents in Taiwan anyway, she agreed with the deal and spent a year in Taiwan working on her Mandarin language.
Meantime, Core Agency secured a record contract with Universal Music and shortly after, Evonne debut with her album “To Be Happy” in January 2002.
